Genmaicha Green Tea Cake Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of Genmaicha green tea leaves
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.

In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and Genmaicha green tea leaves until well combined.

In a separate bowl, cream the butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat until well combined.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk and vanilla extract, until well combined.
