We’re passionate about good, local produce and at Christmas time we love to spoil friends and family with presents they can eat, drink or use in the kitchen. So we’re excited to be involved in the Christmas Artisan Food Gift Market that’s on at the Hyde Park Barracks Museum. It’s a one-stop-shop for Sydney-siders who want to buy local, sustainable and delicious food for Christmas.
There will be more than 40 artisan producers with olive oil, coffee, pastries, tea, honey, meats, chocolate treats, cordial, sauces, Christmas puddings, pickles and jams, muesli and more. Plus, there’s a gift wrapping station, food trucks for some dinner, booze from beer aficionados, Young Henry’s, cocktails by Trolly’d and music – all the essential ingredients for a good night out. You can also pick up a Real Food Christmas Hamper if you pre-order between now and then.
The market is an excellent collaboration between Real Food Projects (who do pop up food events) and Sydney Living Museums (also known as Historic Houses Trust of NSW) – they look after historic locations around the state – Elizabeth Bay House, The Mint, Vaucluse House for example. Follow them on Twitter (@Kate_RealFood and @sydlivmus) or Facebook (facebook.com/ieatrealfood and facebook.com/sydlivmus) for updates.
We’ll see you there.
